Bayer Leverkusen's Quiet Revolution — And Why They're Now Bundesliga's Top Force
In the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season, Bayer Leverkusen have emerged as the league's most complete side. Our power rankings assess actual quality — not just the table.

Tottenham’s season has taken a devastating turn after Mohammed Kudus suffered a major setback in his quad injury recovery.
Kudus originally sustained the injury on January 4, during a 1-1 draw with Sunderland. After three months of rehabilitation, he returned to first-team training this week — sparking hope of a timely return.
But Tottenham confirmed Thursday he had severely aggravated the issue. Surgery is now highly probable, ending his domestic campaign.
The loss is catastrophic for Roberto De Zerbi, who was appointed in February to rescue Spurs’ season. His possession-based system relies on dynamic wingers — a role Kudus had begun to master.
"Kudus was the one player capable of unlocking tight defences — now that outlet is gone"
Without him, Tottenham lack a proven match-winner in the final third. His pace, dribbling, and goal threat made him a box-to-box nightmare for defenders.
This is De Zerbi’s first major setback since arriving. The club had hoped Kudus’ return would ease the pressure in the run-in. Instead, they face a brutal schedule short on firepower.
Kudus will undergo specialist review in the coming days. Even with a successful operation, recovery timeframes make a World Cup appearance unlikely.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup begins in June. With only two months until the tournament, his fitness prospects are bleak.
Spurs must now rely on internal options or emergency signings. But no current squad member offers the same explosive threat as the Ghana international.
